Can NOC For Mutation Of Ancestral Property Be Contested?

Hi Sir/Madam, My maternal grandparents left behind agricultural land and passed away interstate. My mother was tricked into signing NOC to mutate land into his brother's name. Can she contest this NOC in court of law and file a partition suit? Thanks

Yes in this case you can file a case as the Noc executed by you is not valid as it had to be done by registered deed, hence go ahead and file a suit and even the mutation entry will be cancelled file a revenue appeal also.

Hello Mr. Ram Chandra, First initiate a legal notice stating that she (your mother ) is forced to sign in NoC (coercion) and later initiate a case accordingly.
